Sound has no shape and is as ubiquitous as air. We take it for granted. Apart from listening to music and encountering noise, we often don't remember how important the experience of sound is, until its absence is a sensory experience that we often ignore. The feelings of many hearing-impaired people in our daily lives are also ignored. They are frustrated with their hearing deficiency and do not want to assist themselves with overly conspicuous devices. Hearing assistance is as important as user privacy.
That's why Zepp Clarity One was born.
We started by studying the ergonomics of the human ear. We have used hundreds of ear canal models as reference to guide our design.
3D printed models are used for testing and design verification.
Hundreds of components are packed in a slim profile.
Ear tip samples with various designs and sizes have been used for wearing tests to find the shape suitable for users with different ear canal sizes.
Discreet in the ear to protect the privacy of the hearing impaired.
The design of the charging box is equally important. We tried many different ways of placing the earphones, carried out different forms of prototype verification, and summarized the most suitable shape, which is also compressed to the extreme in size, and the size is no different from the common TWS headphone charging box.
The design was recognized by the Red Dot Design Award and won the 2022 Red-dot Product Award.
